NORMAN, Okla. (AP)--Devon Moore scored 17 points, including the go-ahead basket after James Madison squandered a 12-point, second-half lead and the Dukes beat Mississippi Valley State 62-54 Tuesday night in an NIT Season Tip-Off consolation game. Moore had a driving right-handed layup to give James Madison (1-1) a 48-47 lead with 7:19 to play and the Dukes were able to keep the Delta Devils (0-4) at bay the rest of the game. Shannon Behling scored 22 points and Eric Petty added 15 for the Delta Devils, who overcame a 37-25 deficit early in the second half. Petty's fast-break layup off a steal by Dwayne Harmason gave Mississippi Valley State a 45-43 lead with 9:57 remaining, but Moore answered with a 3-pointer at the other end before his driving basket put the Dukes ahead to stay. Pierre Curtis and Kyle Swanston each added 10 points for James Madison.
